Pakistani bosses!!! Your employees know you’re lying when you take credit for their work.

Pakistani Bosses Who Take Credit for Their Team’s Work Are Destroying Their Own Companies.

Yesterday I saw a LinkedIn post that made me angry. A CEO posting about “the innovative solution I developed that saved our client millions.”

I know this guy. I know his team. That solution was built by his junior developer who worked nights to figure it out.

But there’s the boss taking all the credit like he coded it himself.

This is exactly why good people keep leaving Pakistani companies.

The Credit-Stealing Problem!!!

What I see every day:

“Just closed a major deal thanks to my leadership”

Reality: His sales team worked months to close it

“Proud of the marketing campaign I created”

Reality: His team came up with everything

“My company won this award”

Reality: His employees worked overtime to deliver

Single photo of the boss. Zero mention of the team!!!!

The Pakistani Boss Mentality:

In our culture, bosses think signing papers means they did all the work.

Employees are “just doing their job” but boss is “providing leadership.”

Team success becomes boss’s personal achievement.

I’ve heard bosses say: “Main ne company banai hai, jo kuch bhi hota hai woh meri wajah se hai”

No, bhai. You started the company. Your team is building it every day.

The Real Damage:

Your employees:

Stop caring about quality work

Leave for companies that appreciate them

Stop sharing creative ideas

Do minimum effort only

Your business:

High turnover costs money

Good people avoid your company

You lose talented workers

My Experience at Uptech:

Whenever I post about any Uptech achievement, I make sure to tag the team members who actually did the work.

Because that’s what actually happened. I didn’t do the work. They did.

My job is to support them, not steal their shine.

To the Credit-Stealing Bosses:

Stop fooling yourself. Your employees know you’re taking credit for their work.

You think you look successful? You look insecure.

This makes you look like a real leader:

“Proud of my developer Ahmad who solved this”

“Our designer Fatima created this brilliant campaign”

“Couldn’t close this without our amazing team”

To Employees Getting No Credit:

Know your worth. Keep records of your work. Build your portfolio.

When you find a company that values you, leave.

Your boss doesn’t own your talent.

The Bottom Line:

Good leaders share credit. Bad leaders steal it.

Your employee’s success is not your achievement. Their hard work is not your content.

Every time you take credit for team work, you’re telling them they don’t matter.

Pakistani companies wonder why loyalty is dead. This is why.

Stop being the boss who steals credit. Start being the leader who shares it.
