My coach Muhammad Yousaf thinks it’s communication. It’s actually a trick I’ve never told anyone.
It’s not communication. It’s one strategy. Just ONE.
I walk into that meeting as if I’m already hired.
Not “I hope they choose us.”
Not “let me pitch our services.”
I sit there like they’re already paying me for this hour. Like this meeting is my first day on their project.
So instead of selling, I start working:
“Have you thought about what happens when a user does X?”
“This feature will cost you more later, here’s a cheaper way.”
“You don’t need this module in phase 1. Cut it.”
I even tell them what NOT to build. Who does that in a sales meeting? Nobody trying to win a project tells the client to spend less.
But someone already on the team does.
By the end of the meeting, the client isn’t thinking “should we hire him?”
They’re thinking “we already work with him. Why would we start over with someone new?”
That’s it. That’s the whole strategy.
Stop pitching. Start working.

P.S: Sharing this strategy in late hours so it doesn’t get reach 🥂
