At every anniversary, the cake is cut by our office boy or one of the juniors.
There was never a policy behind it. It just started that way and we never changed it.
This year I finally thought about why it feels right.
I have had the year where 60% of our revenue disappeared in one day. The year I downsized 30% of my team. The months I sat in a half-finished office genuinely wondering if I should close everything.
Through all of it, someone still opened the office in the morning. Made the chai. Cleaned the place I was quietly failing in.
The founder gets the posts. The stage. The “sir” before his name.
The cake, at least, belongs to them.
2020: 1 client, 4 people.
2026: still here.
Alhamdulillah.
